Default Oh My God What Happened To My Engine?!??!

IT LOOKS GREAT!!!

I finally decided to try my hand at some DIY painting and I think the results came out pretty good...definitely not as great as Rob's work.. but I feel rather proud I did it myself...I even managed to get rid of the ugly yellow dipstick....I also managed to repair my front bumper which had a wicked curb rash on the corner of it...all in all a fun diy project...

Looks good. Next you'll need a set of Pi-thon polished or colored hose clamps.

Where'd you get the paint from? It matches perfectly.

hahah.. I know...after I installed all the painted parts I realized how dirty everything was under the hood...just finished wiping everything down and a little simple green here and there did wonders...

oh yah.. I got the paint from paintscratch.com...they mix up paint for whatever car/color you have in aerosol cans and I bought a touch up pen as well

Another good source for paint is http://www.towerpaint.com/
All you need is your paint code and they send the exact matching color.

including drying times between coats, probably about 2 hours, could be quicker but I was watching tv and enjoying adult beverages while painting
