Default Headlights: Clear strip installed, painted SB to match car - by MrZipps

Some people have requested pics of my lights so here goes.

Sent my headlights to Dan aka MrZipps. He removed the amber strip, installed the clear strip, and painted the areas I wanted SB to match the car. They turned out amazing I think. Alot of people don't notice at first, it's the true enthusiasts that do. Thats what I like.

I would have no problem recommending his work to others. He received my lights and got them back to me pretty d@mn quick.

His site is www.mrzipps.com

The pics:

I bought the clear strip here:

But that was before I knew that MrZipps carried them as well. If I were to do it over again, I would probably by everything from him to make it easier.

In all of Mr. Zipps gallery, it looks like his side reflector looks like chroome plastic instead of clear reflectors... I'm thinking of the chrom plastic now...

the ones that look all chrome, thats just with the strip taken out, he didnt put a chrome strip in there, if u notice where the light is, theres a hole, it shows that there is just NO strip on there at all

Awesome !

You're the one Dan was telling me about when I requested pics of a SB Z with a cleared and OEM paint matched housing. I better contact him to get my headlights cleared. Just need to find a way to get the front bumper off....

That looks great! I have been thinking about doing this to my SB for a while. I might get around to doing it one day.

Thanks Robin for posting pics. The headlights came out awesome. I love the way color matched headlights look.

Do you mind if I use those pictures on my site.
