Just finished installing my new 8000K HID's yesterday here are some pics...

don't tell me your gonna leave the rear housing uncovered.

 

no no, the wires were too big so what i had to do was cut a little hole in the rear housing so that the wires could fit and therefore the housing could go back on!! haha sorry those pics were taken before i had finished

Was that hard installin it? or was it just plug and play?

 

it was pretty straight forward, the only thing that will take you time is drilling a hole in the rear housing, you dont want to make the mistake of making the hole too big... mine is an 05 model and im not sure whether or not older Z's cables are the same but pretty much plug n play, all together took me about 3 hours to do.

 

Anyone know if this is legal in stupid CA? I remember we can only go up to 5500 or 6000 I think, that's why I never installed it. Cops in CA got nothing to do except pull ppl over for no front license and tinted windows and leave the gang bangers and looters roaming free....
