Default Under car neon - ricey?

This is a poll. Is the under-car neon that makes the road glow too ricey?

I used to like it... so I wont give it super duper ricey. on a show car, made for the purpose to be shown, with a nice hookup(cant see the lights) in a color that matches the car. I think its one of the less offensive and more eye catching neon accents.

Well I havent posted in a long time. Hell I havent read the board in a long time, but anyway here goes with my brand of useless banter...
*shrug* I dont get it with the neon and the stuff...maybe it'd be useful if you where trying to diminish the bug population of your neighborhood. This being my personal opinion ofcourse, I believe if something goes on a car it should have a purpose, if you want it on a show car for some odd reason I guess to each his own its their work. But on a street car...really, why? Other then to beg for attention what exactly does it do? I guess Im just not in tune with
my ricer side, kinda like adding 20 horsepower adding racing seats and 400 pounds of stereo equipment and feeling the need for a giant wing and a sticker paintjob...

They can be done very tastefully, if done with the correct color, etc. The problem is that there is so much "rice" driving around with I underglow, that they now have a negative connotation. Make sure that you install it well, and use the right color and it will look excellant!

Under car neon & uselless wings on street cars are diagnostic of rice syndrome , Not fatal usually but prognosis for avoiding expensive encounters with police is poor.

Default DAMN--Tri-turbo!

That is insane,..thought a Skyline motor in a Supra was crazy enough,..now that got 3 Turbos,...haha well just like Hector said,..but all for 1 car!

I'm still dying to know what a Motech system exhaust,..thought motech was a Fuel management system,..not Exhaust system?hahahah--Either way.

NO Neons PLEASE!?

Default Legality depends

LEgality is a state issue so different states may be different.

Here in CT ANY blue lights are illegal unless you are law enforcement or emergency personel. I suppose red or amber or white would be legal.

Enforcement seems to be lax as long as the blue lights don't look like police lights. I see a lot of cars with blue lights on the hood (washer nozles) and some blue neon cars.

Your mileage may vary. In LosAngeles they may qualify you for a hardwood shampoo from the local gendarmes.

I'm pretty sure if you trace back the roots of the word "Neons" you'll somehow find a relation to the word "Civic" as well.

Only Neons I wanna see are in my fictional Fast and Furious movies.

Neon is cool... if it's still 1990

If you want neon... buy yourself a pickup truck, lower it and slap on some 13" Daytons... then you can be right up to date with the rest of the neon-under-your-dipstick-mobile croud.
