Does the Veilside V1 lip fit w/ the stock under-spoiler plastic??

Default Does the Veilside V1 lip fit w/ the stock under-spoiler plastic??

i have the track pack 350z, and there is a front stock under plastic. i want to put the Veilside V1 lip on, and wonder if that plastic have to come off before the lip can go on? let me know is anyone have tried. thank you!

Fits just fine; have a V1 lip on my '03 track. Bottom of lip is at same level as bottom of that plastic under-spoiler and underneath edge sits a bit in front of it.

No, you use the stock existing 10 or 14mm can't remember that are on each side. There are two per side you use just those. All you need to do is rub the surface where the lip will contact the front bumper with Alcohol. Then apply double sided tape to certain areas and bolt it up.

i bolted on the lip, i have the CF one, and it seems that on the passenger side the lip is not staying up, which is making a little gap between bumper and lip. does anyone of you have that problem? is there a way i can adjust it?

Did you use any double sided tape to secure the front and sides a lil better? If not thats what you need to do.

i didn't use any double sided tape, coz i throught the authenic stuff will fit perfectly, but i think that's what i'll have to do, coz right now is not aligned. i'll try to take it off and use double sided tape tonight, thank you very much barthelb for your reply =)

My urethane v1 came new with double sided tape all along the upper edge. Didn't yours?

i got the lip used, how thick and how wide was the double sided type, is it only on the upper middle part of the lip? let me know soon. i'll try to take it off and redo it again!

Not very thick, grey stuff with red backing; looked like 3M BSM tape you can get at Autozone. All along the middle AND side areas (top edge); three separate pieces.

how is the finish on the CF lip, the one i got used, the clearcoat is like over dripping, and some bubbles, does anyone of yours have that problem?
