Default How did you guys remove your emblems?

I just got my fairladyZ emblem and was wondering how you guys took the 350z emblem off of the back. the fairladyZ emblem comes with the back already sticky so im just guessing clean off the other 350z emblem and make sure its clean and then just stick it on. Any help is appriciated.

I'd suggest paying a trained professional to complete the installation.

i herd if you gently take a heat gun to it it will come off and then use goo-be-gone of something like that to take off the left over goo.

I forgot which is which, goo gone or goof off. One of em is super strong and can mess up your paint. So make sure you know which is which. Take a blow dryer to the emblems and then take some dental floss. Work it back and forth behind the emblems. Then drink some beer and break dance. Then rip ***

Use some fishing line, a heat gun and some Goof Off. Then hit the area with some Meguires wax.

Hairdryer, dental floss it off while hot.
Get credit card and scrape off what's left.
Polish and then wash with soapy car wash thoroughly, NO wax / oily residue.
Apply new decal to dry surface.

try...www.activetuning.com/pat/4/2/ click on emblems. ps...when using dental floss or fish wire, always lift upwards to avoid scratches. Good Luck!

+1 no wax if you're going to stick another emblem on.

If you use goo gone (i've used that and it didn't strip the paint) follow with soapy water to remove the goo gone and follow that up with rubbing alcohol for good measure.
