Default After Market Tail Lights

OK, let me preface this post with these explainations:
1) These were FREE -these were in my friends shop and we threw them on to see how they look
2) I have Bat's Overlays on order and that wil be the final on my car with the Stocks

BUT, I thought they actualy looked OK with my color combo and decided to post a few pic's. I saw a few folks asking about these on the forums so....Take a look

I don't generally like aftermarket taillights but those don't look too bad. At least they aren't all chrome ang blingy like most rice-tezzas.

For those of you who havent seen these in person, they bubble out from the car and kill the lines. They would probaby look good if they didnt bubble out...

JMO of course...

No you are right they do Bubble at the point of the round light, so they aren't as 'flowing' as stock but it isn't that bad, I have gotten a buch of compliments on them today.
Here are two more pics. 1) Park Lights On 2) brake depressed
trust me the photo's don't do it justice as they are VERY bright!

Thanx man, they do flow with my Yellow Black theme on the car (Sorry i am a Steelers faN!)I am actualy thinking about as I had a lot of people asking about them. The ONLY problem I have is the fit at the bottom, there is a small gap, not noticable unless you are right on it and then you really have to look at it. I think I might buy some black rubber trim and see if i can make it look a littel tighter.

comapring the brightness of the stock bar brake light to ur taillights there really is no difference... so they must be pretty bright...

I MAY try these out if i can get a good deal on em

How are you gonna put Bat's overlays on them if they have that bulge?

Cool But, FREE is great price

Sorry.
I realize that your generous friend has slapped those lights on for FREE, but frankly I would NOT put those LED tail lights on my Z. Simply put, they're UGLY, no matter what smoked overlays you choose to glue on them. The visible problem with those after-market LED lights are that they have that undesirable bubble on the surface of the lens. They may look okay from certain angles .......but generally speaking, that bubble protrusion really gets a major thumbs down on the basic visual.

They look okay on yellow except from directly behind it looks like a huge bug is staring at you (which reminds me of a Neon and that is never good). The bubble does ruin the Z's lines. I would put stocks back on and overlay them but thats me, they aren't THAT bad if you decide to keep em on.

Haha, ok, that makes more sense...

I saw an orange Z around here with those a few months ago...I honestly couldn't stop laughing...sorry to everyone that likes them, but they are horrible! Like...I said out loud with some friends in the car "what the **** is that ****!?" and they were like "what the hell are you talking about?"

like what everyone said, the bubbling out part is not flowing right and it would be great if they just made the rest of the house black without any of those extra red reflector at the very top. Basically all you need is 2 lights and the rest of it is black, reverse and brake light is all that is needed.
