Default PICS of my front license plate mounting

I got my plates last night and decided to try my own mounting method before going and spending $50 on a kit.

Hires pics at http://www.laurenson.com/users/jeremy/350z

Heres what I got:

I used the front bracket that comes witht he Z and trimmed off the buldge with a pair of good scissors and a bread knife.. (All the right tools, baby!)

I used the scissors to make two additional holes in the bracket (as seen in the ziptie photo below) and ziptied the bracket to the top grill piece.

The bracket does not touch any paint as is.

I then hotglued two eracer nibs onto the bottom of the license plate and also put a thick amount on the bottom because the plate and frame mounting DOES touch the bottom lip on the paint and I would expect it would be mobile since I havent ziptied the bottom...

I also have a 3m shield on the bottom, so Im not worried about the movement unless it rattles - I'll let you all know.

The plate would otherwise touch the paint on the bottom of the scoop.

I was thinking about using zip-ties to mount my front plate to the grille. Will this cause any harm (decreased airflow to the engine?)

It will block the outside temperature sensor, so it will not be accurate. I have noticed 5degrees or more difference when I mounted my front plate by the airdam.
