Default installing white bumper reflector lights

I recieved the white reflector lights under the headlights for my new 06 Z, and the instructions are in japanese.

It says i have to remove the whole bumper, is there any other way to do this?

If this is the case i have to do it professionally. Unless there is anyone in LI/queens who wants to help me out?

removing the bumper is easy, but you dont have to remove it to do the install, and you certainly do not need INSTRUCTIONS!!

couple of bolts and bend innerfender out use small short screwdriver and a friend to pull back gently when needed and a little luck near the washer fluid holder and a little patience and then ..... done.

Removing the bumper is simple and makes swapping the sidemarkers very easy once it is off. Taking it off the first time might take a little bit of time because you will be afraid to break something but once you have done it once you will be able to put it back on and off in no time.

Yeah I just bought some clear side markers too. Was hoping to not have to remove the bumper. So I turnthe wheel all the way to the right or left, remove some bolts, pull back the fender cover and then what....??? (dont want to break anything...)

If I do remove the bumper do I need special tools??

Zladie, you can do it without the bumper removal, its just a bit more difficult. You need to turn the wheel all the way to right/left depending on which side you are.

The driver side is simple, remove one fender bolt, pull it back, and switch the lights.

You will need a small philips.

The other side however, has the windshield wiper fluid blocking the light, and it is very difficult to get ur hands behind it to remove, the screws, it is doable, you just need alot of patience and coordination.

If your willing to do it, then give it a shot, i had to remove 2 screws from the bottom of the bumper to help reach in, have a friend help you hold it.

This was while the front of my car was on jackstands and both wheels were removed btw.

Take the bumper off. It is quick and easy to do, plus you won't cut your hands up trying to get between the wiper fluid and the bumper.

yea i took off the bumper half way. left the bolts under the bumper alone. just took of the plastic clips on the top and the side screws that hold up the fender. did it for the first time. no instructions. just looked at the screws that were holding the bumper and went from there. install took me like 30min.

i used a thumb size phillips screw driver and flat head to take the plastic clips off.
