05 light vs 06 lights7
On the older 350s, at night time, the HIDs look like they are rectangular when you look at them from the front even though the projectors themselves look round during the daytime. I think this looks HOT! With the 06 and its bigger looking projectors, does it still have the rectangular look at night?
Sorry if the question is stupid, haven't seen 06's from the front at night time yet. Please say it does, the 03-05 HIDs are the coolest looking lights I have ever seen.

No, the '06 does not look rectangular at night. The '03-'05 lights are a hybrid reflector/projector design and are low beam HID only; the high beam is a separate halogen bulb below. The '06 lights are true projectors and bi-xenon (low and high beam); they are better lights and light up the road better at night.

Most people seem to think the 06 look better in the night and ugly in the day. I am the opposite, the 05s looks SICK with its rectangular light making yoyu think WTF is that at night? There are so many round projectors on cars these days. And although the 06 looks wierd straight on from the front, any other angle, it looks badass during the day.
I drive at night on rural, dark, winding roads where deer are a looming danger. I don't have the luxury of deciding what looks good during the day if my lights don't do the job at night. The '06 bi xenon lights are the best lights I've been blest with in 30 years of stock and after-market driving and fog lights. I'd pay hundreds of dollars extra for these lights and I didn't have to. Thank you Nissan for improving on an already great product.
