Default 350z T-top

i really dont like the looks of the 350z roadster and the others dont come with a sunroof, so does anyone know of how i could make my 350 a t-tops? do any shops do this sort of thing?

if u got the $...i dont see y its not possible. I havent seen anyone do a T-top conversion yet.

There was an extensive thread here about a failed attempt to put together a group buy for someone to start the work. If memmory serves correctly it didnt pan out. search for targa top, you will find it

yeah i would say it didn't work out lol

there have been rumors of a couple people that did it, but the roof is such an integral part of the body integrity that after they cut out the t-tops/targa when they closed the door the whole frame would shake.

T-Tops would be much more doable than a targa top. The rigidity could be kept with T-Tops, but obviously not with the targa. THe targa can be done, but would require reinforcing the frame underneath the car. Both would be very costly, but a targa would be the best mod ever for the Z IMHO.

Too bad its not feasible w/o paying around $8-10k.

wouldnt having a targa INCREASE body flex? the Z already has enough of it
