That's funny. My OEM bulbs were dull as hell (I could probably see 20 feet in front of me). 4300 is yellowish to me, 6000 is white. As for the people that like 8000k, me, it's done for an exotic look. When I used the high beams on my magnum, I couldn't tell they were on, that's how bright those 8000k bulbs were. I tend to believe what I see, not what I read. Sorry. Thanks to everyone else for the help.

Sorry but you werent able to see the high beams because the color of the bulbs was much bluer so it overpowered the oem white. If you couldnt see your highbeams up higher then your low beams then you have another problem.

4300 is brighter then 8000k, much much brighter.

the little ceramic tube that covers the return wire should be on the bottom side *under* the bulb, not on top. Make sure you got the right bulb too, D2S and D2R have different notches.
