Default Gauge Cluster mystery light

What does the little car icon with the top up mean? It just below the Fuel Gauge to the left, below the E. Mine never lights up for some reason.

One more question: I'm assuming the Service Engine Soon is the check engine light? Where is the check engine light located on the gauge cluster?

Yes, the SES light is the same as a CEL

Might have something to do with putting the top up and down on the roadster models? I have a coupe and I have never seen this light.

Thanks steve, 350zz053.

sry110 - Shine a Flashlight at the spot under the E where the fuel gauge is. You will see there is an icon there =) Even though it doesn't light up.

Didn't someone say Nissan Designed the Z from the ground up to be a convertible? Cause the gauge cluster already accomdates an light for a top up then! I have 2003 Coupe.

It tells you in the ZR whether the top is not in the secured up or down position.
