Time for new LED clearance bulbs... which ones?
Well, like many others have discovered (as well as the manufacturers), LED wedge bulbs just do not last forever in the high heat environment of the headlight housings. I was running the SuperbrightLEDs.com 6 LED 194/168 wedge bulbs and just had one go out, so time to order some more and a few spares while I'm at it. The bulbs are only a few bux each and I like like the look over the ugly stock bulbs and don't want ricy blue tinted ones, so I'll just suck it up and replace them when need be. These have lasted about a year, so I can live with it.
My question is: should I stick with the same ones or try something different? My only beef with the standard 6 LED bulb is that while they are bright and the color is good (white), they don't spread light to the sides much at all to light up the housing. They have a 5 LED bulb with 4 radially mounted 3mm LEDs (that standard size or smaller?) pointing to the sides and 1 high flux LED facing front and was wondering if anyone had tried them? From the way they are put together, it looks like the LEDs stick out a bit and I don't recall how much clearance there is to get a bulb through the hole... will they fit? Will they light up the housing better?
Both bulbs can be seen here:

3rd and 5th from the top respectively for the 6 LED and 5 LED bulbs.
Any others I should consider? Any that have been proven to last in the headlight housings?
