Default Need help installing illuminated foot lights.

I'm installing the Illuminated foot lights and need some help with the Japanese instructions. From what I can see, the wiring is pretty simple, it's just making I've picked the correct wires. Color codes don't seem to match, but I could just be looking at the wrong place.

I know SkiDazzle installed these, but I can't seem to find his thread on the install. That is if there is one. After I've completed the install I'll post a how-to and step-by-step for those thinkning about installing the foot lights.

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the fuse box? This should help me tremendously.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
-m

ok, here's what I figured out so far. Looks like the diagram supplied (japanese) is reversed (flipped).

I managed to get the foot lights to work by hooking the main lead (red/illum) to the (green/wht) wire in the fuse box and I connected the (2) blue wires, which I would presume are the turn-on leads for each door down on the BCM. I don't believe I'm taping into the right wires for the BCM. Everything I've tried leaves the foot lights ON, even after the dome light goes off.

I've attached some pics, maybe this will help.
Thanks. -m

Can anyone read Japanese?

If so, could you help out a fellow Z owner by translating the instructions?
I can email you a PDF version of the instructions.
Thanks, -m

Bump for help if anyone can PM me.

My BCM looks like: http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...-BCM_Small.jpg

Original instructions, much larger:
http://www.courtesyparts.com/instruc...0-Z33KT_1.html

R/B = Red with Black stripe
L/W = Blue with White stripe
L = Blue
P = Pink

My BCM doesn't match either the instructions either.

Thanks!

My progress, yet still no luck: https://my350z.com/forum/pacific/455...re-manual.html

Bump.

Didn't know 2003-2004 had a different BCM than the 2005. That is why I can't match the wiring up. Anyone else installed this?
