Default Seibon TS Hood quality/fitment

How is the quality/fitment for the Seibon TS hood? I am just wondering because I have mixed reviews so far in regards to Seibon. I am going to paint the hood except for the vents but a good fitment is key.

You can get the hood to fit almost perfect. It will take some work with moving the latch up and down and possibly drilling the holes on your stock hinges. I've also had customer not have to do anything to get it to fit right. PM me for a quote.

I have the VT hood and the quality was pretty good. Except for underneath. In which you can see all the layers of fiberglass. Which I think alot of (not all) carbon fiber hoods come this way. In which I had mine painted underneath. The fitment was easy. About like CarbonLTD described above.

Sorry if this is a negative comment, but any quality made from you know where.... are not considered good fitment or quality. It's either the product fits or not. It's not like where you buy an OEM hood and say the fitment was okay. The OEM fitment is always good because it always fit.

I think the Seibon is hit or miss. Some have good results while other have nothing close to OEM fitment. Seibon should really change the wording they use on their site. Their hoods definitely don't fit like OEM as they claim.

I agree, I got the Seibon TS hood. The fitment is terrible, it shifts to the passenger side and cannot even get it closed. I gotta do some modifications later to see how it goes

Fitment is terrible if you have a track model your strut bar will bend the hood, cracks easy, and for some reason the hood cracks in the front.

Seibon offers exchange until you have the perfect one.

I got really good fit hood but my friend had to ship his hood back becuase it won't fit at all.
So take a risk !
