ARGH! I couldnt get it on. The part on the bottom corner of the headlight would not go on (number 7 or 6 i believe). Might just end up giving it to my brother for his e36 M3

Yep big pain. I'm going to wait till it warms up and try it again. If not off to the garbage they go.

mine have been trashed.

if you want it to work, pay for someone to do it.

waste of money otherwise.

I got a set of Xpel protectors installed when my clear bra was done last week.

The Xpel protectors are 40 mil thick! That's about 1/16". Once installed you can not tell it is on there. It is 100% prefectly clear. The protection is adds is amazing.

It was $75 installed for them, but well worth it if you ask me.

The installer had to use a heat gun to form them and even then it was a pain in the ***.

I did mine a week ago-- it was definitely frustrating!! But after like 2+ hours I got them both on using a hair dryer. The last corners don't look great, but in one week they have set down a little more. Bottom line for me, they don't look great, but they are protecting my lights from the bad New England road crap. I might get new ones in a year or so and give it another shot!

A good place to get it from and has really good instructions is www.rockblocker.com. They have step by step with pics. They sell their own paint kits and stongard paint and light kits. It doesnt look hard.

There kits are just as good as stongard for half the price too!
