You have been modding the crap out of that car. You interested in some Time Attack CE28s?

Noticed your car is red, here is Rick@Status's car!

Interested in which LEDs you used, specifically the mcd rating. And can you tell us if you did series or parallel LED wiring, what the LED voltage and current was and what resistor value(s) you used. I'm sure there are many of us looking to do the same or similar things.

This led keeps going out. I didn't put a resistor on it becuz I thought it would hold up. Do I need to get one? This is the second time in 4 months.

You will absolutely need to use a resistor. The resistor limits current, which is what determines brightness. If you overdrive an LED, it will be bright but it won't last anywhere near the 80,000 hours they're rated for. Google "LED calculator" to determine your resistor value.

How often do you get to quote yourself...?

The exception to this is when the LED comes with a built-in resistor, but you would probably know that because it would be clearly marked. But since it keeps burning out, I'm assuming there isn't one.

They will not be brighter with a resistor, but they will last longer than 2 months. If you're looking for something brighter, you'll need higher-output LEDs that produce a higher intensity or brightness without being overdriven.
