Default sort of clear bra on side panel

does everyones Z come with clear bra pieces in front of their rear wheels, sort of like a scuff preventer? If so how do i remove? is it as simple as just heating with hair dryer and remove? need help as i am soon to install v1 sides and dont think it would look right with extra lines on it? please help

If I were you I'd put the side pieces on and see how they look. I've never removed them and have no idea what process they used to apply them.

bump please help. anyone else. thnx o3zs. i held it up to the panel and doesnt really look as clean as it would if they were off.

The stock side skirts come with clear bra on them, for the exact reason you mentioned. It keeps the front tires from chipping the paint when they throw rocks. You can just peel it right off like you would a vinyl sticker.

It's on there pretty good, but once you get a corner up, it'll peel off (pull slow, hard and steady). May leave a little residue you have to clean off. Just be careful not to mar the paint when picking at a corner. Dryer might help.

Not to thread jack, but does anyone know if you can buy the OEM ones from the dealer?? The one on my pasenger side is really scratched up, i want to peel it off and replace it with a new one. Thanks!

Yep I had the same situation where my passenger side was messed up. You can buy replacements at the dealer for around $15 a piece.

thnx guys just peeled them off came off really easy now just gotta clean the edge to make em look good
