Yeah i totally agree. I wasn't saying it was Jim's fault or that it is his responsibility to make it clearer to people that Seibon deals with these issues and not him. It's totally the customer's job to read the fine print, BUT, since a lot of people don't, they start these threads which damage the vendor's reputation. I was just saying that if he were to make it clearer for them (instead of in the T&C) then they would understand it's not his fault, however I understand how he can't even do that since that would scare off the customers.

There was no front end damage to the car... so stop... the car was at a body shop for cosmetic work, a body kit and hood... I do not have to take pictures of a defective hood, all i wanted was a refund.. I'm not jumping through hoops for anyone. If you sell sh-t... be prepared to hear sh-t about it.

This thread is not for everyone to chime in and make smart a-s comments... it's a warning for potential hood buyers, I had a bad transaction and wanted to let others know...

The hood is off the car, I've moved on... you think I'm going to put it back on my car to take pics...???? It's crap... he sells crap... if he wants to sell crap he's going to hear about it... sell quality products and stand behind them or don't sell here...

what level of quality did you think you were getting? OEM fitment or would you have been satisfied with 'decent' fitment. (not flaming, just asking)

and boy are you touchy for being from jersey.

not again. Once again people dont read the TOS/T&C and get pissed.

Jim, can you preinspect hoods before they ship or does that have warranty issues? or do you do the drop ship thing?

Wonder if you could run the vin to check for front end damage? Aftermarket bumper? If the fitment on the bumper is off, then that wont help.

I dont drop ship so it will be inspected but I can not test fit everything myself. I would love to run a carfax on him, but who knows his VIN.

+1, some very basic inspection before shipping out might help the business going. I know it's hard to be the middle man selling someone else's products. But afterall, the customer bought it from you not Seibon. They could care less if it was Seibon's fault or not.

Middle man is the money man, and he is responsible for the quality of the product he sells, otherwise what is he being paid for?

your post is out of line.
I agree pictures are not at all out of line, and if I were in Jim's shoes I would ask for pictures also.

If the hood is indeed defective then I have no problem fixing the issue, but he has yet to show me anything that the hood is defective or even that the hood doesn't fit.
