Also, I have the rare Avalon Racing harness bar, which has a mounting point for the OEM seatbelts. I'm able to use the OEM seatbelts on the street & my harnesses on the track.

As far as an update, the fabricator is just way behind on my project since it's considered "small". He has more "important" things ahead of me. So all I can do it wait it out at this point.

8/23 Update:
After having a long and drawn out conversation with the fabricator and owner of the shop, I have decided to take the project elsewhere who wants my business and will do the product right.

I have a used Sparco harness bar for sale that no one has purchased that is well below what the bars we were going to make would cost. So it stands to be that if I can't sell this one used bar which is cheaper, selling many new ones just isn't going to happen.

That's too bad. I strongly believe that the 350Z community needs a better harness bar option besides SPARCO & BCR. I did not like their design, which is the main reason I waited patiently for an AVALON RACING bar to become available in the classifieds section. I lucked out and was able to obtain one of these rare harness bars. Have you considered looking at their design since they are no longer being manufactured?
