Newest update: This one ain't so good. Prices seem to be rising. Paint is much higher than I expected. May have to look into powdercoating. Unfortunately, to bring down the price on the bar itself, I will need quite a lot of people for the buy in. To run the setup for the end pieces is what is killing me on the price. I have to make enough for a minimum of 25 bars in order to have them made. I am not using flat pieces for the end of the bars like the BCR one or the cheap ebay ones.

One of my real concerns is that I know that everyone wants to see a pic of it before they want to commit to buying it. My only problem is that it's an all or nothing venture. I can't just make one to prototype it because certain parts that go into the bar have to be cut and fabricated on a metal lathe and my fabricator won't make a production run on just one.

You get what you pay for, don't forget it.

This doesn't change the amount of respect I have for Matt, it's simply supply and demand, and price points. eBay has some available, for the price I listed. I can spray paint it flat black if it's not already black. That being said, I'm waiting for Matt's pictures.

i think a lot of us dont need to see pictures of the actual product, just maybe some type of layout of the design so we can compare to existing harness bars.
with that being said, good luck with the project Matt, im just as excited to see this as everyone else!

I agree with others that at a $350 price point (even if it were offered ala Model T: "any color you want so long as it is black"), your product would have an advantage and sell the minimum of 25 needed.
my two cents,
