Default New owner of O6 Enthu SEATS are killing me

Ok I'm 6'1 and in pretty good shape about 175 /180>
I have broad shoulders.

When sitting in the 350Z ( cloths seats ) and driving for more than 30 min or so my Lats start to get real sore.

The Boulstering in the seats is basically stiff and squezzig me to the point of discomfort.+ Why nissan did not make the side boulstering adjustable like in a 2nd gen eclipe is beyond me.

Any good seat alternatives that arent fullblown race seats that might provide more comfort?

Thanks
Brian and Ginger

Try adjusting your seat better. I had the same problem. I reclined mine a bit more then i normally would, and it seemed to help. Eventually your body will get used to em. Took me a couple months. Be happy you don't have leather, it's even harder!

Here's one thing that the seats really need...

I've taken three 8-12 hour road trips (1 way) in my Z and find the seats to be very comfortable. You've got to figure out the proper positioning though. And the lumbar support helps too.

Looking at new seats now. Like others have said, leaning them back more helped but I find along with the need for lumbar adjustment, the seat cushion sags too much in the middle. Seems like I'm sitting on a very narrow hammock.

FYI- If you haven't seen the thread, Z1 is offering deals on new Bride Seats.

LOL@ "Who's 6'1, 175/180 and has broad shoulders??? Brian or Ginger?"

JSYK-- Ginger is 5'6" and 120lbs / Seats are perfect for her - As well as everyother Asian on the planet. Not that she is Asian; but they are mostly small framed too.

My solution for lumbar support: airplane pillow stuffed in the back of the seat. Much better.

Uhh... I have pretty broad shoulders and weigh more than you and am totally used to them. Just recline it back more.

If you're looking for new seats, you certainly aren't going to find anything more comfortable in the aftermarket. (well, except maybe some of the wide-assed Corbeau seats)

Bad idea..if he's having fitment issues with stockers then Brides are no better.

Sorry about the fit and I hope you find a solution, but I pray Nissan doesn't change the lateral support as it's one of the nicest things I like about driving the Z.
