I am a window tinter, and I will tell you right now, that tinting plastics does NOT last for anything. They obviously tinted the jeep to make $$ and not take the customer into consideration. I have tinted a plastic screen for a computer once, and it peeled off in days, prime example of why its a waste to even try tinting plastics.

What do you guys think? I'm very happy with it.

This is what mine look like with two medium coats of VHT Nite Shades applied. You still get good light transmission. I applied some crystal guard to shine them up a bit. The crystal guard will also stop most of the fading. Hopefully, this won't peel off.
I've done this before on other cars and it has lasted at least five years and counting. However, If you get a scrape you'll be buying a new lens. Nearly impossible to redo well. However, you can probably get these really cheap now that the LED style is in.

Lights off:

Light on:

Thanks appreciated especially coming from you. Not everyone can do this so your film is the way to go for most peeps. It looks like I could use a shot of clearcoat to protect and finish it off. This is a lot more trouble than more people are willing to go to or risk. You mess it up ..... your buying new lights.
I figured, I mess this up I'm buying '06 lights.

I am still interested in your healight films with painted section. I'm just not sure what I want. I'm thinking clear now with SS paint after running on a dark dark road with the boys this weekend. However, if I ever install my driving light behind the grill I might get the lowest tint and SS paint. I love the look!

Props on your products !!!
