Getting a Kinetix V+ Plenum. I don't think they look good black. So I was thinking of throwing a coat of Rusto High Temp Silver on everything by the logo. Tell me why it's a stupid idea, or not.

I don't think it's stupid as long as it's high temp paint. I've painted engine parts b4 and it's lasted years.

I dont know if you could call it a stupid a idea, but just make sure to use high temp paint. Avoid spraying in or around the gaskets and the inside. Make sure you stay away from any chrome color!

I was just thinking there might be some issue with the heat, like holding the heat in.

What? You mean know bumper chrome? But I was already on my way to the 99c Store.

I've painted with this stuff before and it last about 1.5 years before I have to reapply. I don't see any real draw backs that you could get from the paint.
