Default Asuka Hood OK in the rain?

i just got the asuka cf hood and i noticed that one of the vents is right above the MAF sensor...i was going to put some electrical tape around the wires to protect it a little, but is it ok to get wet?...i have the injen cai...here's a crappy pic of what i mean...any advice would be great...thanks!

Stuff in the engine bay should be fine. Personally, I don't drive my car in the rain though. It it were my daily driver, I wouldn't have a vented hood on it.

not really a DD, but if i have to drive in the rain, i just wanted to make sure it would be ok

I asked Andy@performance about his and he has a Popcharger, too. Says he's been rained on with no problems.

you should have any problem. Just a dirtier engine bay.

I got an asuka hood, only thing that I got is the intake that I gotta worry about..
