i finally got to installing my wheel and my srs light came on with my ses light.. i reset my srs light but does anyone know how to remove the ses lights? thanks.

 

so to confirm- your check engine light came on the same time as your airbag light?

hm. shouldnt have. they're totally unrelated. if ur SLIP light comes on, thats cuz you installed your hub too far over to one side or another.

check engine light removal is either with ECU reset procedures or obd2 port clear.

maybe its something else u did...

 

hmm.. odd i only did the hub and the quick release. could it be that i've been doing my own oil changes and the dealership needs to manually reset it?

 

Check Engine light came on? That is bizarre. Pull the code and tell us what it says.

 

same with Key's racing wheels and most decent ones on the market it seems.

 

you need resistors for the air bag sensors. (sorry, i didn't take the time to read to see if you installed these)

Also, check to see if you have everything grounded properly. Most hub kits come with separate spacer type peices that act as grounds. They go before and aft of the adapter.

yeah i installed both resistors for the air bag sensors. everything was grounded properly.. i think.. i need to double check because i know i had one extra piece of metal looking spacer left over..

 

Bewteen my Momo wheel, quick release and bells works hub, I ended up with an extra grounding ring as well. You only need one ring.

I used mine between the wheel and quick release, which is not a good enough ground. Someday when I get off my *** I will put it between the quick release and hub where it should be.

 

hi everyone.. im removing the personal wheel and hub now. i realized when i removed the wheel i got a SLIP light as well as my TCS light. anyone know how to remove this light? thanks.

 

I'm a noob and at a complete lost on the Horn part of the install... Can anyone make a write up with pic's PLZ?... mine cam with no instructions and i think I'm missing some wires.
