Would Black JDM Tail Lights Be Too Ricey?
I know it's popular to paint your headlights black, but I was wondering if anyone has bought the clear JDM tail lights and painted them black yet? I think that it would possibly look good on a black Z...

The OP means painting the housing of the CLEAR JDM tail lights black...not using an overlay.
To the OP, to my knowledge, many people have contemplated it, but no one has yet to do it. Buy a set and make us proud!

it's not painted either. It's an overlay. Overlays = gay

If it looks good and does the job, what does it matter?

im been trying to find someone to do it for like a month now. from what i was told, there is a circuit board inside the lights so you cant bake them in an oven. so i dont know how to get the lens off.

Yep, the main issue appears to be that the tail light housings are very difficult to open up.

Why don't you contact Dan at Mr.Zipps to see if he thinks they can be done?
He did my 06 headlights, and they look killer!
