Airbag light blinking
Hello to all and thanks for your help!
I had a local shop replace the seat covers on my 2004 Track Model with leather after market covers. They did a great job, however, the airbag light on the dash pod is now blinking.
I checked the connections and everything seems fine. Do I need to take my Z to a dealership to have something reset? If you recall, the Track Model has the SRS Airbags in the seats.
Thanks!

If your going to mess around in the airbag areas, your suppose to disconnect the battery or it will give a fault code if anything is disconnected, even if the car is not turned on
The airbag module holds fault codes, and flashes the light, even if the problem no longer exist.
you can try to rest the module by disconnecting the battery over the night and see if it reset and retest, but I wouldnt count on that to work.
If your sure everything is connected, and it doesnt clear, you'll must likely have to get the dealer to reset the control module. I dont know of anyway to do it yourself

Mine started flashing a week or two ago.. i hadnt messed with it but it was the passinger side sensor that just went faulty for what ever reson.. they overnighted the part and put it in the next day.. easy.
Well, I had to take the Z to a local dealership to have them reset whatever controls the airbag light.
I dropped it off at 6:30 am, they called by 8:15. All fixed and a $100 well spent! (a touch of sarcasm)
LOL!!!
