I've wondered this myself, being I fly for free. If some are small enough, I could bring them with me. I'd like to visit there anyways.

shipping overseas is expensive. You'll probably break even at best. I head over to the Far East several times a year and I've seen guys hand carry parts.

my sister just moved there so i was wondering the same thing. but i hear they have stopped shipping things by sea and now its all done by air. Atleast for smaller items. I assume they still ship freight stuff by sea. have no idea if thats true or not, though.

For larger items such as wheels and body kits, it is definetly cheaper, a fellow NW g35driver member purchased his wheels and authentic kenstyle kit in Japan and had it shipped over by sea and said even after shipping costs it was significantly cheaper

From what I've seen, many parts are cheaper in the US than anywhere else. I can easily order parts from japan, but choose the States instead.

Hahha.. guys like me. lol

In Japan, there are tons of used car parts stores that specialize in aftermarket stuff. I'm sure there are better deals over there than here... general rule of supply and demand.
