I just recieved my 06 OEM tail lights today and other than the small chip on the driver's side I am more than happy.

For the price I paid I'm not complaining, plus you'd have to look for the chip. I'm sure something happend during shipping...

i just got mine put on last week. They are so bright. It's a huge difference in the day time. I love these. 400 for some tail lights hurt my wallet though.

 

Since they are brighter, do they consume more power or cause any problems?

 

i don't believe so. It might take less power. LEDS don't take much to power them and the reason they are so bright is because of the LEDS. Much brighter than standard bulbs.

yes, they're very nice. now get some 06 HID headlights if you haven't already done so. you'll find that the 06 HIDs are quite bit brighter, and you'll appreciate the extra brightness in the front, because you actually see it all the time when you're driving.

 

I'm actually happy with my 04 HID's thus far... maybe in the months to come I'll consider them.

congrats, got mine last year and loving it ever since I like how the red plastic is brighter than the old design, and how much clearer it looks.

 

They definitely do look good. Excellent mod for pre 06 Zs.
