Default Shift ***

Ok, guys, this is probably the STUPIDEST question ever asked on here but I dont know the answer. Ok, how does one remove the shift **** to put on a new one? Its a manual transmission. Does it just screw off? Haha. i said screw off.

there wasn't a search smiley. so i went with the next best thing. search is your friend. if you search "shift, ****, install" you'll find what you're looking for.

Use a Oversized wrench but be sure to put a towel over the **** so you don't ruin it. You will not be able to screw it off with your hands you must use a wrench to get it off.

I don't think asking a question on how to take off a shift **** is stupid... For all you omg zed pro's out there it might be but it's a fair question... There should be a DIY writeup of it?

there are... tons of em thats what those people are talking about, its been posted on here over 20x im sure... and there are guides on the internet about it as well... i searched google before i came here and asked and i found it on there... the guy was right when he said it isnt rocket science...
