Default Hit and Run =(

Yesterday I was a victim of a hit and run. Some idiot in my school parking lot did not know how to drive/park/w.e and hit my car. I contacted the police, etc.

The damage isnt terrible but Im extremely pissed. Especially at my headlight.

Here are 2 pictures of the damage

After some cleaning:

I was going to replace the bumper anyways with something a little nicer, but the headlight has those scratches in them. Is there any product that will let me "buff" this out? As for the bumper I will just use some touchup for not and try to atleast cover it a little.... I know it will look like crap but im kinda short on cash since the semester just started.

yea plumpzz... it was actually thurs night by the CAC gym....

I took some sand paper to a plastic bottle (thick plastic) and started buffin that area with some Meguiars NXT metal polish... and the scratches are going away.... so i may just use that... but it will take ALOT of buffin

Wow. Could you make those pictures any bigger?

The Canon PowerShot SD800 IS is a nice camera but you ought to post the pictures smaller.

EXIF data. ftw.

Most digital pictures (from any decent camera) contain it. If you don't know what it is, Google is your friend.

try using tooth paste and rub the scratched headlight area, it might remove some of the scratch marks... let me know how that work out for you
