I absolutely love the INGS Z Power Wing but it's rediculously expensive. I found this wing and think it looks suprisingly similar. Let me know what you think.

What do you guys think of this spoiler?-z_style_cf_spoiler_1.jpg

Not feeling it at all. Looks a bit tacky IMO.

Sorry bro, I'm not fond of any wings that stand above the hatch. Just not my thing. I'm more into the streamline sutle look...

You're probably gonna need an aggresive bodykit to make it work.

no worries...I like the super aggressive look. I want honest opinions. I guess I really I really want to know how close you guys think the ebay wing looks to the ings.

It's an ebay item. It either wont fit right, you'll have to do some cutting, it will look bad or all of the above.

+1. I never buy replicas after one bad experience I had with a body kit. My advice, save your money and get the real deal. It'll give you peice of mind..

I totally understand...The main issue that I think could occur with a replica style piece like this would be the brackets fitting poorly. I think I could make new ones myself that would fit properly if those didn't. A poorly fiting body panel would really suck. Thanks for the responses.

it looks similar but there are some differences...the mounts are different, the wing itself has more curves to it...overall its close. i dont think its a bad wing, i like the ings wing alot and if i were gonna do it i would consider the ebay one...i mean, how bad could it fit, it is not fiberglass, it has metal mounts and u cant really mess up metal too bad. i would say go for it if u like it.

Thanks for the words tony...I think it says cf wrapped so I'm assuming that means that its fiberglass on the inside? Carbon is carbon isn't it? I know methods of laying it are different and finishes are different (gel vs clear) Is gel the same as clear?

oh, i didnt really read that. i guess i should have...carbon wrapped probably means fiberglass piece with cf on the outside...yea carbon is carbon but if it is fiberglass then this one will be heavier than one that is all cf...im sure the ings one is all cf and not fiberglass wrapped in cf...and gel is not the same as clear...if it has a gelcoat on it that will not protect it against the sun...but u could always just spray it with clear when u get it and your all good...the only thing that i would worry about if i were u is the weight of the wing...being fiberglass it is going to be heavier than an all cf piece...see if u can find out the weight of that wing vs. the weight of the ings one...
