I want to get the Z badges but I have no clue how to pop out the Nissan badge in the front or back...I'm afraid I'll ruin the paint or scratch something....any tips?
They are attached by adhesive. Heat them up with a hairdryer. Then find a secure way to grip them and they will come off easy enuff. I have already killed the 350z lettering this way.

Yeah, there are holes, but they are there just so you can line up the emblem (which have posts in the back) correctly.
Tried floss, and after 1/2 hour of tearing up my fingers, used a different method:
After heating with hair dryer (on low, so as not to melt the "Nissan" emblem), I slid a 6" thin plastic ruler under one of the wings. Then with more heat, I used a thin (then thicker) screwdriver (resting on the plastic) to SLOWLY pry the emblem up. Scrapping the old adhesive pad off with my fingernails took some time. Removed the last of the adhesive with "Bug & Tar Remover", which smelled like turpentine (which it probably is).

I second that emotion!
I used a thin putty knife padded with soft athletic tape and pried (after heating) inside the Nissan emblem as opposed to on the periphery. I figured if I scratched anything there, the new Z emblem would cover it.
I tried the fishing line and almost cut my fingers off with no luck.
The grayish adhesive left behind came off really easily after I heated it up as well. It then sort of rolled off with simple finger pressure. I then wiped with a cloth and popped in the new emblem:

Ha! It looks pretty good dont it Al boy? It is a $12 mod. It is chrome door guard trim, that crafty owners have put on their grill! Many have done it! Do a search and you can find loads of pictures and advice for install!
Yes It does.
There is a picture of what it looks like floating around somewhere. there are 2 one larger than the other in a horizontal line from eachother.
I feel the same way. i dont really want to pay to have it filled.
i am either gonna find some little rectangular badge related to zness in some way, or I will buy a small circular Z logo to cover it up.

I used a heat gun that I got at Home Depot for $24. I had no problem getting my old badges off, but destroyed them in the process. I put damp towels around the parts of the car I did not want to heat up, and used a pair of pliers to tear the old badge off once the old badge was pretty much melting. Installation was easy except for in the rear. I accidently put the new badge on the back offcenter. I had to tear it off and reposition it to get it perfectly center.
