I pulled the number out of my ***, because I can't tell much of a difference between the stock HIDs and a friend's drop in 8000k's.

Let him do what he wants, it's not anyone elses choice.

Do you really not get the difference between brightness and light output? They are two different things. Output is how far the beam travels. Just because something looks brighter doesn't mean the beam will travel as far. It can affect myself and others due to the fact that he can't see as well as he could with the correct bulb which in turn can cause an accident. Is it really that hard to comprehend?

Let me get this straight, your reasoning for using shittier output bulbs is that the headlights already suck in terms of output, so the output can get even worse than it already is?
