Nothing in there says anything about a thread. All it says is to pick-up our lip or to let you know when we are picking it up at my expense.

LOL at trying to figure out how to spell extremely.

Nope, I have a 97' altima for a daily driver and a 93 ford ranger for hauling stuff and I traded my 2002 Audi A4 for the Z. Even if i did trade cars what does that have anything to do with this?

Right, i didn't say it did. All I said was to contact me, which ONCE AGAIN you never did. I also already pointed out that I said that in there...

So your saying in order for you to call me or contact me I need to threaten with a thread? Great service you have there....

Alright, I've defended myself enough and it's clearly going right over your head. Let me know if you decide to pay for shipping back and I'll still consider sending a replacement.

OP, you are the one not acting very smart here. You've been told numerous times by different people that your lip WILL fit on your car. Jim has given you some reasonable options so pick one. I suggest you save the $$$ on shipping and go get it installed somewhere professionally since you obviously don't feel up to it.

...this thread amuses me because of the lack of the support from a community, this happened when I owned my tC also, then it came to find out that the buyer was right and the person selling the product was ripping people off. Now I'm not saying the showstoppers have ripped anyone off I'm just saying that this whole situation is a bit sad, and from my experience in a bodyshop, there's a good chance that the lip has no chance in hell of fitting, if it's already on there, getting that extra half inch, especially if its on both sides would be damn hard. Just saying people need to look at both sides.

...this thread amuses me because it should be about a crappy body shop in Tennessee instead of a vendor on this site.

Fixed

I understand your concern Delayed, but people have said it over and over, it will fit. It's not uncommon. There is no vendor scamming anyone, just a naive buyer who seems to refuse to listen to any advise.

I'm sure his response will be "It is my thread and I can be rude if I want!"

I've got a new proposition for the OP directly from Chuck himself...

"Chuck has authorized to call it back on one condition, if the lip gets to Showstoppers and they can make it fit with pictures. You will pay for shipping back and forth which is $80.00 per trip. Because we are 100% sure that lip will fit and are putting up $160.00 to prove it. "
