I think the OP is just a brat who doesn't understand how to install parts..I know some companies do scam people but it sure seems to me like the OP did a half *** attempt of installing the lip and then decided to act like a child on the boards because he couldn't get it to fit.
I'm with the vendor on this one. That deal he offered should def. prove who's wrong in this matter.
