It is a repost.....I think they're introducing it on the EX and I think I read about the front bumper of the GT-R receiving this paint as well.....

I don't know if it's true Nissan is coming out with that paint, but I did see on the Discovery channel about this type of self repaiing paint being available to the public at some point and that was about 6-12 months ago.

hopefully it fixes paint chips on it's own too!!

i talked to the infiniti rep at the auto show, and she said that the clear coat "melts" and levels out if there are minor scratches. She also said that if you left it out in the sun, it would "heal" faster. It sounds like pretty interesting stuff.

Nissan is also working on the paint that can change colors, but I HIGHLY doubt they'll allow that here in the States. Crime and all..
