Just an update. Working on the design of the last part.
I saw the WorksBell version and i have to be honest, didnt look like they put a lot of thought in to it. The paddles still look to low to be a true sports car look and feel. And there switch looks to be mounted on the paddle sticking out the cover. Thats why mine is taking longer then expected. I hope you guys can wait. Once i get the first one make, ill take pictures for you guys. Youll really love the look and feel. You know the story, beautiful things take time to create

Thanks for the update, James! Yeah, I did not like the look of the Works Bell paddle shifters either. Although I have not see it in person, it just did not look "ergonomically" correct in the pictures I have seen. In addition, you have to replace the stock steering wheel (and in turn, lose the airbag, which is not good).

I'm impatient as hell but i'm definatly willing to wait for quality. Dunno if you've ever used a Logitech wheel for console/PC racing games, but those paddles feel pretty solid which is great.
Thanks for keeping us updated!

Thought id give an update. Should be done with the drawings by monday. And ill be going to couple machine shops to get some price quotes. Been working out the internals as that it is tight space inside. I can say that the paddles will be replace able so you can use Brushed Alumn, Black Anodized, or Carbon fiber. The Carbon fiber ones will be specail order as they will be custom wrapped around the Alumn skeleton.

Kick *** dude... sounds like they will be of good quality! Will we still be able to use the gearshift to change as well or will that be disabled?
I'm sure with this mod, valve body upgrade, and final drive ratio / diff upgrades... the 5AT Z can start to feel closer to a Ferrari in terms of shift response. Even though it, wont, be a Ferrari, lol.
Thanks for the update man!

BTW did we ever confirm (I re-read the last 2 pages but didn't see it) if the paddles stay stationary or move with the wheels? I really want them to remain stationary personally, so I know where they are at at all times.
