just a small suggestion...may be too late, but how about extending the bottoms of the paddles more? The way it is shaped in the pictures, your hands would have to be in the 10 and 2 to reach them. If the paddles were extended lower so you could reach them from maybe 8 and 4, that would make the paddles in reach when making some steering adjustments.

just my .02

Okay, James, you're getting me all worked up!

I'll be running with a PCA DE event on a road course in June and really would like to have these paddle shifters installed before then. I'll be running against Porsches, Z06s and a Viper and really would like to be able to shift faster just to keep up with those guys.

Do you have your valve body modded? Otherwise this wont chang shifting speeds...

So does a valve body upgrade have any effect on shift speed when you are in "manual" mode?????

Paddle shifters dont change the speed of the computer for shifting, thats what valve body mod is for. It is the same shifting speed as if you were using the shift **** its self. But i have noticed with my proto type, it feels easier in touch to shift, than with the shift ****.

Yes, I understand that but less motion means you're able to shift faster while keeping both hands on the steering wheel.

2nd project for us 5AT owners!? Man, you have to let us in on this!!! It's hard enough waiting on these paddle shifters and you're teasing us on another one. What can be so unique to us 5AT guys that 6MT guys will be envious of . . .
