Yes, there is a gap on the Acura antenna. The Dodge antenna is completely flush with the base.

But calm down. Its just an Antenna, and where I live, the Acura dealer is closer than a Dodge dealer.

Verdict is = buy whichever one you like...if acura dealer is close to you buy the acura one or if the dodge is close to you, buy that... both antenna's are better than the stock and S2000s.....I was bored and I noticed the gap (and got a little carried away with it), but it's a very little gap and shouldn't stop you from getting that... Great find OP

Just received my RDX antenna. Now I know the gap you guys speak of. It's not noticeable enough for me though. You'll really only be able to spot it if you're next to it or staring straight at it.

Yeah, so if some 2 foot tall midget comes by and looks your antenna straight on, he might notice the gap.. OMG THANKS FOR SAVING US FROM THAT HUMILATION !!

the Acura gap is bigger than you guys think, so joke away.

Thats why the Dodge antenna has such a huge advantage, its completely flush with the base.

i just got a mazda 3 antenna and it fits pretty flush. the base is just not as wide as the stock one so the 2 small holes do not get completely covered by the mazda antenna. does anyone know what the 2 small holes in the rubber piece u screw the antenna into does?
