Left headlight is meant to be lower than right to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. It is the same way for the right light in the UK. You can raise it, but it is not going to be a uniform beam of light as the right since both sides are aimed at exactly the same height, the left side just has a different cut-off shield.

You can raise them a little and have them light better. But don't raise them enough to the point that they're blinding people.

There's a DIY on aiming the headlights somewhere. I'll dig it up.

Its not really aiming it up or anything. there is a so called "****" of sorts thats you can turn. you will need a 16" screwdriver but it is very easy and works gr8.

just go to google and type this in

"350z headlight adjustment"

the first link provides a very good write up. qucik and easy
(I would have just psoted a link but it wont let me)

I could certainly be wrong, but everything I have ever read on these and other forums always says that the light shield's cutoff "step" is different between the left and right projectors with the left one being raised a little, hence both lights are aimed at exactly the same height, but the left one projects light at a lower level than the right.
