Thumbs down

I've seen it "live" on one car. It looks "stuck on".

I only have the front though. I did the CF emblem fillers on the rear.

Where it looks "stuck on" is in the rear on the car I've seen, the front looks much better. Good choice!

yeah...i was debating about putting the Z on the back, but I'm afraid of the stuck on look and that the gap between the badge and the body will be too big and look dumb...im keeping the NISSAN on the back...but I'd like to take that off to make it look more mysterious...some people ask "what is it?"

Question

I just got a pair of these Z emblems but the backing tape doesn't look like they are from 3M (grey foam), and I'm wondering if those double sided tapes (white foam) are strong enough to hold the emblem? Thanks!

the tape isn't super strong...i dont know why they didnt use 3M tape...on the front, you could feel that its not stuck on very good...i can push it down a little.

In another thread, installers were saying that a heat gun is needed to put the badge on.

Question Couple Questions on these Emblems

Are both front and back emblems identicle in size and shape? In other words, are they tailored for the front and back?

I say this because I only want one for the front and if they are the same maybe someone would want to sell their 'extra' one to me.

Yeah, I do like them on the front more, cause there is no Z emblem up there. It does stick out more on the back.

Might be interested in just one of them, also.

Default heat gun?

I've been looking doing just the front for a while too. How did you pull the factory emblem off? Do you really need the heatgun?
