Default Cheap aftermarket seats

I searched and didn't find much. I want to stick with a good seat, recaro, sparco, corbeau ect.....

I just want something that will hug a little better and hold a 5 pt harness for autox.

Any input? I want all black too, just keep it simple.

Whats your idea of "cheap"? "Cheap" and "Recaro" don't go together well.

if your just looking for a seat for all around driving purposes thats not too shabb y in quality or price look into Status. if you want one for tracking thats certted, thats a different story.

If you want cheap and i mean CHEAP seats go for NRG seats and forget about it [if you need some I can probably get my hands on em too let me know http://www.nrginnovations.com/products/]

but when it comes to wanting to roll with the ballers and get bride or recaro or even sparco

you cant put cheap to either of those name in price and or quality

Something like this.....

http://www.racing-seats-usa.com/960.html

In fact this is what I might just end up with. The only problem is, im not "larger" 5'10 190 with a 34 waist, am I going to slide around more than in the stock seat?????

Or would this be a better option for me?

http://www.stage3motorsports.com/pro...cing_Seat.html

I prefer something adjustable, but it's not absolutely needed.

that's probably worse than the stock seat.

if you want to stay with something less expensive that's going to accommodate a 5 pt harness correctly , look at the sparco evo/evo2 or the recaro pole position, both seats are going should be around $600-700 and will fit you perfectly.

cheap is not the way to go for safety equipment.

lets start with the obvious stuff, it will make it easier to hone in on something you'll be happy with

1. what do you like about the stock seats?
2. what don't you like about the stock seats?
3. what is your total budget (including the bases/sliders/install hardware, etc)
4. do you want 1 or 2?
5. how are you mounting the harness (harness bar? cage?) - is this part of the budget or do you have it already? Do you know how the 5/6 'crotch' strap mounts?

that will make it easier to recommend something worthwhile

I had some corbeau A4s in my old Z, I'm 6' with a 38" waist, extremely broad shoulders. I thought they were great, and they weren't even the "wide" seats that corbeau makes.

I would have kept them, but my wife didn't like them and we started using my car to commute 120 miles a day, so I took them out, eventually sold them.

Since we've moved I put in the Tommy Kaira Recaros and I think they are more comfortable and supportive than the stock. I drove 3000 miles across country in them! I don't think I would have wanted to do that in the corbeaus!

I like how the stock seats fit me, just want a tad more snug and something that will fit a 4 harness, I think that's what it is, over the shoulders around the waist, I really don't need the crotch belt do i? And I hate the look of the stock seats.

I don't have a per say budget, but I think it's absurd to spend more than 500 per seat, I want 2.

Im not sure how im going to mount them yet, most likely harness bar. It's only really for autoX, I don't really NEED the harness, but if im getting the seats im getting the harness too.

I also would like the seats to be adjustable, which is why im leaning towards the Corbeau S4 in the black/grey microfiber, my car is SS so that'll add a lil style (the grey will match) and class with the microfiber.
