Default horizontal headlamp/ headlight adjustment

hi

i've searched but don't seem to find result in title

i have already adjusted my headlamps / headlights up to the desired level

however, when i take sharp/ 90-degree turns, i turn into darkness as there is not enough light - i need to adjust the beams horizontally

kindly advise how to do so

TIA

you know that by adjusting them up you threw off your side view, so basically you created your own problem. my suggestion is to set them back to within specs and your problem should go away. also oncoming traffic will thank you as well.

not really sure if that is supposed to be a sarcastic reply or a honest one, but what i posted is true. unless you know what you are doing and have the proper tools, your headlight aim will always be off.

clever

they are within spec - originally, they were too low - something which i'm sure you must have read that lotsa people are complaining about

i've even considered fitting spot lamps angled out but would like to first try and adjust them sideways
(there's others also asked same question on other forums without replies)

so, if you know how to do that, kindly let me know

How were they too low to start with? How did you measure it and make sure its within DOT specs?

My stock headlights were aimed too low IMO. I couldn't see far at all.

Now I adjusted them higher, to around 24" IIRC, and everywhere lights up perfect.

Where the H is the Vertical Adjsutment? I have a manual, and still can't see it.

Can anyone describe how to find the location? and is it a phillips head screw?

Thanks......
