Default C-West Vented Hood

I'm looking into getting a C-West vented hood in FRP or CF and was wondering how the fitment was. Is it lighter than stock? Any pics?

Any vendor recomended for good pricing?

Jet - Try Gruppe-S. They have given me some significantly strong
pricing on C-west CF items as of late. I believe they are the US
distributor, or right next door thereto. If the hood is anything like
skirts and rears, I would imagine... perfection.

Be prepared for a wait. I've been waiting about 7 months so far......it's suppose to be on a container arriving in the US right now.......we'll see. Don't have my hopes up.

I ordered through Intense......no problems.

Edit: I have the CF version in route......

+1. For the most part, authentic JDM products have precise fitment. Check out my authentic ings+1 carbon hood. Fitment was perfect.

I agree, but it really has nothing to do with "JDM". It's more about construction and quality control, both of which Japanese manufactures have, but its certainly NOT limited to just them.

Always remember when it comes to any composites for your car (body kit, hoods, spoilers, etc), you ALWAYS get what you pay for....always.

BTW Andy, I just ordered myself an ING+1 hood for my DC5 last week !

I think I'm going to get the fiberglass hood since It's going to get painted. I hope the FG weighs less than the OE hood. I'm doing this hood for the venting. It gets crazy hot under my hood at the track with the 2 turbos in the FL heat.
