Default Tint on the "dot matrix" around side/back windows...

I just got my tint on Monday. It doesn't seem to be adhering where the "dots" are on the side and back windows. Will this happen eventually or is it normal? Looks kinda lousy for the price I paid!

Thanks!

I would give it a few days to fully adhere, but if the bubbles are still present then I would bring it back and request it to be fixed/redone. Although if they did it this time, they likely will do it again unfortunately Good luck, but if you want it done right you may be forced to have it redone by another shop.

sometimes it doesn't adhere perfectly; doesn't mean that it was done correctly or incorrectly. as long as it doesn't peel off it's okay. some tinters actually cut the tint before the dots

take a hard card, or a hand squeegee, and push the film back up, the glue is ok it probably just didn't get squeegee'd good enough the first time, not a big deal, another trick if that still doesn't work is just peel it back a little ways and throw some elmers glue in there then sgueegee it back to the window. not a lot but enough to form a thin layer. but the tint shop should do all that for you if you bring it in.

that is definitely not the thing to do. as mentioned earlier, take a hard card to it after a couple days have passed. use a paper towel with the hard card as it will help get the tint in between the dots. it's not because the tinter did not squeegee hard enough. tint is just not made to stick to the dots.
