you'll have to go to a nissan / infinit dealership, the only way to program a key with via the CONSULT II or III that the techs use. REMOTES on the other hand can be programed easily, key's need to be coded to the car and similarly with each other.

Intersting question...I've always wondered why they made the new Altima keyfobs fancy and kept the Z keyfobs the same.

I need to get a new master key too. Is the dealer really the only place to get the key/cut/programmed? They're pretty expensive.

I have no idea, but I'm talking about the actual key itself and not the key fob.

we can sell the keys and the fobs themselves at large discounts to forum members. however we will only cut them if it is a local pickup.
so feel free to contact us for both nissan and infiniti keys / fobs.

the z fobs and altima fobs will not work I do not think, will have to check into the part #'s to see.

the new altima intelligent key is the same as the new 07 G35 (v36 chassis) this is correct. One has a nissan logo the other has an infiniti logo...

local locksmiths can do it if they have the correct equipment, that is correct.
