Default little man with airbag in face light

ok I have searched and all I can find is the srs airbag light. my little man with the air bag in the face light came on after I washed my car, I have read that this can happen. but it has been over 2 days and its still on, any idea on what I can do beside take it to the dealer or take the bulb out.

same thing happend to me and when I took it to the dealer they said that something was wrong with a harness (i think). If its under warranty dont take on the headache just take it to the dealer and let them handle it for free.

Search for airbag light reset procedure. Try that.

Thumbs down on taking the bulb out for two reasons; 350Z doesn't use bulbs for panel lighting; it uses soldered LEDs that can't simply be pulled out. Second; disabling the symptom of a potential security problem instead of identifying the problem is never a good idea.

not sure if this helps but if you go to autozone (dont laugh, they sell things other than riced out emblems) dont they do a free diagnostic or something like that. Then if you have an error code maybe you could go from there.

Try the air bag reset procedure a couple of times, this has happened to me before. Its a little tricky, should come off after a couple of tries.

i had the same problem, mine was the driver side airbag module was broken so it was covered under warranty. Actually this happened to me at least 2 times but they got it completely fixed now. Supposely though, it happens if you move your seat back and forth too often, at least thats what my service advisor told me. I have a 2004 touring also so it should be covered under warranty, just go to the dealership and see.
